Another bright beautiful
day dawned and Howard once more went off to dive.
His diving took him to the south of the island to
dive a plane wreck and a reef. An old DC-9 sits
on the bottom with the cockpit at 50 feet and the
tail around 85 feet. There were tons of big parrots
and barracudas and even a turtle! The second site
was a drift dive on a reef. Pretty - but the planes
were much cooler.
Kirsten spent the morning playing with Ty. They
built mounds of sand and tore them back down. Kirsten
also made some sand turtles for Ty to play with.
We were going to meet up again after lunch, but
he was not having a good day.
We sat with Peter and Irene and watched the sunset.
There were a few sailboats that went back and forth
and Howard kept trying to capture a perfect silhouette.
With the sun below the horizon, we adjourned to
Champions for dinner. Tomorrow will be another day
of diving and sun! |
