Today's goal was to become
familiar with the resort and the surrounding area.
The resort is huge with 2 sets of hillside villas,
one set of huge villas at the foot of the hill and
then the sprawling hotel.
We are here at the same time as the University of
Chicago Anesthesiologist Conference and the Applicators
Conference. No - we never did find out what the
Applicators one is all about.
We found the pool(s), dive shop and other amenities
and booked a snorkel/dive for Monday afternoon.
The plan for the evening was to order pizzas and
watch the Patriots dismember the Steelers.
We all gathered at Kirsten's parents villa and proceeded
to figure out which channel was CBS. We found it
as the pre-game show was wrapping up. Then we ordered
pizzas and walked down to the Mango Deli to get
them.
Game time! It was fun to watch with Peter who is
a real football fan. Predictably, the Patriots dominated
the Steelers and were on their way to a third Superbowl
in four years. |
