Most of the other on the boat were finishing up
their dives for their open water certifications
today, so it was a bit busy. After breakfast, we
moved to Sven's Reef, the next reef over, about
a 20-30 minute boat trip. Howard went off to dive
and Kirsten went off to snorkel. The snorkel group
was larger this morning as Jeff joined in due to
congestion issues that kept him from diving; Amanda
also joined in and tried to teach Carrie how to
dive down toward the reef; as well as 2-3 others
who washed out of the scuba open water classes.
Kirsten happily saw a turtle at the very beginning
of the first snorkel of the day, an epic of about
1 hour 40 minutes. After lunch, the boat moved to
the other side of the reef for a different dive/snorkel
spot, then back to the lagoon for the night dive. |
