Howard started his day with two dives while Kirsten slept in and then read by the pool. The dives were on sites to the West of St. John
near Great James and Little James islands. According to one of the passengers, Little James is on sale for a paltry 42 million dollars. The owner lives on the larger
island and a flag flies when he is in residence. He was not home today.
Both dives were great. The first was in an area
with lots of soft corals and limited staghorn corals.
The best moment was when we found an octopus. The
second dive was not as pretty, but we saw a large,
~3 foot sea turtle.
It was a relaxing afternoon with some napping, reading, and swimming.
Dinner: Zozo's; Howard - Pistachio crusted Mahi
on arugula with goat cheese and polenta croutons;
Kirsten - Shrimp on red tomato pasta with marinara
sauce. Good but we are not headed back. |
